TreeAge Software Public Healthcare Training

2018-04-11

Are you ready to learn the required skills to become an advanced TreeAge user from one of the most knowledgeable TreeAge Instructors in the world?

Join us in beautiful Baltimore, MD for comprehensive hands-on healthcare / software training using the latest and most advanced version of TreeAge (2018 Version).

Participants seeking CME credit will earn 15.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for attending the full 2-day Healthcare course.

TreeAge Software Director of Training and Support, Andrew Munzer, will lead both courses.

"We developed the 2-day course as a comprehensive introduction to health economic modelling using TreeAge Pro" explains Andrew. "We introduce the theory, then provide hands-on instruction building and analyzing models.  Day 1 focuses on decision trees, cost-effectiveness analysis, and sensitivity analysis. Day 2 focuses on Markov models, time-dependence, then applies the analysis techniques learned in Day 1. The course finishes with individual patient simulation models, allowing for more complex models incorporating both heterogeneity and event tracking."

"No advanced knowledge of TreeAge Pro is required, and even experienced TreeAge Pro modellers often attend to learn about additional software features and modelling techniques" explained Andrew.

"Attending the newly designed Advanced Markov / DES Course as well is highly recommended", explains Andrew. "We developed the advanced course to build upon the contents of the 2-day course to address more complex Markov modelling techniques and Discreet Event Simulation models", Andrew explains.  "The contents include complex calculations, nested clones, debugging techniques, bootstrapping, and more."

"The advanced course starts with a Markov patient simulation model with complex formulas using the treatment strategy, health state and prior events to determine values in the model. In Module 2, we build a Discrete Event Simulation (DES) model, adding non-fixed risk and... click here for full description"
